ANNOUNCEMENTS

ANNOUNCEMENTS – II Sunday in Christmas
5.01.2020

Today is the first Sunday of the month. We pray for world peace. It is also a day to remember blessed Marcelina Darowska.

Today's tray is intended for the needs of the Major Seminary of our Archdiocese. This month, the Lviv deanery is organizing food aid for our clerics, which is why we are asking for help while collecting food and funds for its purchase. Both food and funds for this purpose can be deposited in the chapel of St. Casimir.

Tomorrow we will celebrate the Solemnity of the Epiphany. On this day we have the obligation to participate in the Holy Mass, therefore Holy Masses will be celebrated as on Sunday. It is also a day of prayer for the mission. During each Holy Mass there will be a blessing of chalk, incense and water. Chalk and incense can be picked up in the chapel of St. Casimir.

Next Sunday is the Baptism Day. It ends the Christmas period. Traditionally, we will sing carols until February 2.

On Thursday, we invite you for all-day Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

From January 8, from Wednesday, we begin our pastoral visit to our cathedral parish related to the Christmas carol blessing of all parishioners who have entered their parish records. Those who are not yet registered can do so with the sisters in the chapel of St. Casimir. The carol plan will be posted on the website: www.lwowskabazylika.org.ua will also be posted on the board at the entrance to the Cathedral. If someone will not be able to accept a priest within the given time, please inform us about it, similarly please inform us about any changes or mistakes. This can be done by phone.

Thank you for the sacrifices made for the renovation of our Department.

On Tuesday is the anniversary of the death of priest Karol Jastrzębski († 1966), who introduced the Divine Mercy Devotion in our Department.
