The Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation

"Those who approach the sacrament of Penance obtain pardon from God's mercy for the offense committed against him, and are, at the same time, reconciled with the Church which they have wounded by their sins and which by charity, by example, and by prayer labors for their conversion." (Catechism of the Catholic Church 1422) 

Every who is the Catholic and have partaken the First Communion already may approach in our Basilica the sacrament of confession.

The Confession takes part every day before and during each Holy Mass. The Church encourages to the systematic approach to this sacrament especially when our conscience has the weight of sins.

We encourage to report us about the ill and old people who stay at home for priests to perform the pastoral care of them, especially on the first Fridays of the month.
